POT HAS BENEFITS
I wonder why the opponents of medical marijuana are not more vocal about
banning tobacco ("Debate Swirls Over Marijuana As Medicine", Feb 25).
Cigarettes have no recognized medical value and are far more dangerous than
marijuana.
I support the right of patients to use medical marijuana, as it is much
safer than many prescription drugs. Prison is not the right place to put
sick people, especially if modern medicine has failed to relieve their
suffering.
