RCMP A BUNCH OF LIARS

To the editor:

Re: "Shut down DARE and disband RCMP," Letters, Jan. 31.

Mr. Barth certainly makes some bold suggestions when he calls for the
disbanding of the RCMP. His claims that RCMP officers routinely lie
to children is certainly correct. However, it does not go far enough.
The RCMP appear to be addicted to lying.

From the top cop down to the street beat, lying seems to be one of
their principal tools. When did it become acceptable for this symbol
of Canadian justice and freedom to resort to such immoral behaviour?
