TALK ABOUT REFORM

I WAS pleased to read the astute commentary by Lawrence T. Jablecki
about some reasonable and urgently needed reforms for the Texas
criminal justice system. Count me as one of many state voters who
would like to see practical implementation of such reform ideas soon.

Many other large counties in Texas face the same challenges presented
in Jablecki's analysis and could use an extended discussion of these
important ideas all across the state.
