ELIMINATE BACKLOGS -- STOP BUSTING FOR SIMPLE DRUG POSSESSION
How many rapists and violent offenders have walked free because the
court was backlogged by simple drug "crimes?"
Canadian courts wouldn't be backlogged, and we wouldn't have to spend
even more money on lawyers, cops, courts, judges and jails, if we
just stopped busting people for simple drug possession.
But then, that would be the simple, cheap, effective, sensible thing
to do - so it won't happen here.
