AUSTRALIAN DRUGS SWOOP

Police in Australia say they have seized a record quantity of the drug
ecstasy aboard a Chinese cargo ship.

Around half-a-million ecstasy tablets were discovered during a raid by
officials at Sydney Harbour.

The pills were hidden inside a shipment of tinned pineapples.

A quantity of heroin was also found.

Police described the find -- valued at nearly seventeen-million dollars --
as significant.

Two men, one Canadian and one Chinese, have been arrested in connection
with the case.
