'HOLLYWOOD MADAM' SENTENCED FOR DRUGS
Heidi Fleiss, known as the "Hollywood madam" for running a high-priced
call-girl ring, was sentenced to six months of home detention Monday for
using methamphetamine and failing to submit to a mandatory drug test.
Fleiss, 35, admitted in a hearing before U.S. District Judge Consuelo B.
Marshall in Los Angeles that her drug use and failure to get tested were
violations of her supervised release agreement.
Marshall also ordered Fleiss to submit to counseling and drug treatment.
