MEDIA SKEWED

I read your article on the rave culture and ecstasy. Though some of your
findings fit the cliche, many of the things you reported on were isolated
or skewed from what I have seen from most parties I have been to.

Granted, many kids do go to parties just for drugs. There are still quite a
few of us who go for the music, though. I remember what techno and trance
was like in 1995-1996, and I wish it could still be that way.
Unfortunately, the media have overhyped and undermined the culture as a whole.
