RCMP BUST A LOW BLOW TO MEDICINAL CLUB'S SUPPLIER

We Asked You: About RCMP swooping down on marijuana club supplier's herbal
farm at same time club members were talking with feds about legalizing pot
for medicinal uses.

It's just pot for medicinal reasons, insist readers who are fuming over the
RCMP bust of the Compassion Club supplier's pot crop during talks to
legalize medicinal marijuana.

RCMP Bust A Low Blow To Medicinal Club's Supplier

Shame on Health Minister Allan Rock. And shame on the RCMP. This is not
some street stash. This is medicinal marijuana for the sick and the dying.
Shame on you.

Prohibition A Failure

I don't smoke pot.

But I sure as hell defend the rights of others to do so.

I firmly believe the raid on the Compassion Club was a move by Allan Rock
to show the club he has complete control over its destiny.

The entire federal government is completely out of control. The treatment
of marijuana smokers is absolutely ludicrous.

When enough people want something, there's no way in the world any law is
going to change it.

Our politicians are so far out of touch. Have they forgotten the absolute,
abysmal, total failure of prohibition?

Outrageous

When are they going to decriminalize this? And if Allan Rock was meeting
with Compassion Club members, he must have known they were going to bust
that farm. That is just outrageous.

Shame

Ifind it hard to believe that a country can deny relief to people presently
in pain.

For shame.

Every day I become a little more embarrassed to be Canadian.

If anyone would like to know how this war on pot came about, how entirely
useless it is and how much money your government has spent trying to stop a
drug it knows absolutely nothing about -- watch Grass, a documentary
narrated by Woody Harrelson and filmed here in Vancouver.

Pot Helps People

People with serious illnesses should be entitled to use marijuana. And
compassion clubs should be allowed by law to provide for these people. The
RCMP should know damn well that the marijuana is being grown to HELP people.

Make It Available

Marijuana should be made available to those in medical need.

Shame on the RCMP for holding a child and elder at gunpoint.

The volunteer gardeners must not be charged with a drug offence. The
Compassion Club, and the growers who supplied it, were not operating
underground. These people are not the "drug pushers" we all fear.

Legalize It

They should just legalize pot. That way, you would take the money out of
the hands of criminals. Then maybe the police could go after the criminals
who are doing the violent crimes. Right now, the cops can't go after
violent criminals because they're too busy busting pot growers.
