SEARCH WAS JUSTIFIED

Regarding the letter on slain police Officer Sherry Lyons-Williams:
Although I can agree that the war on drugs is not being run quite how it
was envisioned, an argument for the case of the dealer regarding illegal
search and seizure is insane.

There had been a drug buy in that house earlier in the same day. There was
a warrant, and there was reason to enter the house to have it issued.

Lyons-Williams was performing a job no lawmaker or lawyer had the guts to
do. It sickens me to hear suburbanites whine about the rights of the drug
dealers and not the majority of the people who have to live in the
neighborhoods around them.
