ACQUITTAL
EDITOR: I was thrilled to hear that a Sonoma County jury acquitted
Kenneth E. Hayes and Michael S. Foley of criminal charges. Marijuana is
medicine, in fact and in law, and overzealous prosecutors of the drug
war need to be replaced.
The Press Democrat gets our thanks, as well, for giving the issue
much-needed coverage.
