MARIJUANA PARTY: OTHER ISSUES COVERED

Dear Editor,

As the BC Marijuana Party candidate for Langley, I realize Mr. Troy
Landerville [Politicians gone to pot, April 6 Comment, Advance News] was
just having fun with us, but it spurred me to write and explain we are not
a one-issue party. In fact, we have a solid, well thought out platform
which can be viewed on our web site at www.bcmarijuanaparty.ca.

We have a qualified health professional advising on our health care
possition, and boast a great plan for the forest industry, and before you
scoff at the voucher system, consider it well, as it is of great interest
to a lot of parents, as well as our policy of Choices, Options, and Tolerance.

One thing Troy was dead right about: yes, we will have the best victory
party - no nasty hangovers.

But he was wrong when he said we would forget we won. We would not only
remember, we would do the best job ever.
