DON'T STOP THERE
The drug war isn't working. In fact, it is ruining lives, careers and
families, and it is an enormous waste of tax dollars. We need to focus on
treatment instead of imprisonment. The war on drugs has increased the
likelihood of racial profiling, which disproportionately affects people of
color.
I hope the Free Press continues to take policy makers to task on this issue
and demand fairness and logic when dealing with drug problems.
