REFUSED TO OBEY
EDITOR: The Compassionate Use Act of 1996 requires "government to implement
a plan to provide for the safe and affordable distribution of marijuana to
all patients in medical need of marijuana."
While other counties have complied with the law and implemented medical
marijuana programs, Sonoma County has not. Instead of prosecuting the sick
and disabled and the people who care for them, it's time for Sonoma County
District Attorney Mike Mullins to arrest and prosecute the Sonoma County
supervisors who have flagrantly refused to obey this law for four years
