POLICE BRUTALITY
The police have way too much power ("Cities can stop riots before they
start," April 17 by Clarence Page). It's a shame it had to take a riot
for media to report police brutality and abuses of power. Fifteen people
had to give up their lives before media did anything. The war on drugs
must come to an end. It is destroying America, and this is the reason
police have all that unchecked power. Absolute arbitrary power always
destroys absolutely.
