A BAD PRECEDENT
The U.S. Supreme Court has no problem with police officers arresting
motorists for minor traffic violations, "Court backs driver arrests"
(Gazette, April 25). That doesn't surprise me.
The Supreme Court also has no problem with the random, suspicionless drug
testing of schoolchildren, or drug-sniffing dogs in our schools. The
Supreme Court has no problem with drug-testing innocent applicants for
employment, either. Apparently the only problem encountered by the Supreme
Court is the Bill of Rights and our right to live as free individuals.
