Re: Hollywood Cracklist, May 5. This editorial shows a great
ignorance of the disease of addiction. It is irrelevant to the
relapse process of Robert Downey, Jr., or any addict that they have
employment or financial resources. When a person
relapses, their thought process or rational decision making ceases to
function.
Does the Post advocate a "punishment" model for recovery? This and
other moral stances do not support sobriety or recovery.
