MARIJUANA PARTY: A PARTY OF CHOICES, SAYS ROYER

He is the third candidate from his party to throw his hat into the ring for
the Yale-Lillooet riding, but the 19-year old chef from Chilliwack says he
is ready to represent you in the legislature.

Vincent Royer, profiled the Marijuana Party's agenda as an agenda of
choices, calling the prohibition of marijuana as a "waste and abuse of
human rights."

"There are hundreds of millions of dollars wasted on the war on cannibas,"
says Royer, where, if legalized, there are millions to be made in the
production of hemp fiber and hemp fuel.

Royer told voters, at Monday's all candidates meeting, that the RCMP
sponsored DARE program in schools is having a "contradictory effect by
grouping marijuana with cocaine and acid."

The confusion, says Royer, with so many parents smoking marijuana, comes
from the mixed signal that maybe then even the hard drugs are worth trying.
Nowadays, says Royer, "as many people smoke joints as drink beer.... "In a
real democracy the war against marijuana would have ended years ago," said
Royer.
