Mr Buffry was born in Glamorgan and has lived in Norwich since 1968. He has
a BSc from the UEA's School of Chemistry and an Open University diploma in
computing. He is an internet publisher and author. He willingly admits he
has a criminal record - for cannabis offences - and served two concurrent
prison sentences in 1991 for conspiracy to import and supply cannabis. He
is the nominating officer and "in name only" the Legalise Cannabis
Alliance's party leader. He has never stood for election before. He likes
Ancient Egypt, science and science fiction, the environment, human rights,
alternative healing and travel. He dislikes bullies, tyrants, bigots, party
politics, pollution, starvation, slavery, vandalism, and eating mammals.
