WAR ON DRUGS OUT OF HAND
Are we truly in a war on drugs? It is becoming more clear with every
passing day that this "so-called" war on drugs is no more than a war
on our own people. How much longer will we tolerate our wives,
husbands and children being incarcerated for long mandatory sentences
or even worse, murdered?
It is time for a change. If anyone thinks the killing of that poor
woman and her baby in Peru was the first or last accidental death to
come about from this war, you are sadly mistaken. Things have gotten
way out of hand and this insanity should not continue.
I am begging each of you to contact your congressman, senator, or the
president and tell them that enough is enough.
Surely, treatment is by far the more humane approach to solving our
drug problems. Our government cannot be allowed to continue this
madness. If you don't stand up for your freedom and the right to
life, then don't complain when they take both away.
