HEARTLESS RULING

EDITOR: I find it deeply disturbing when the high court (no pun intended)
of our country makes the proclamation that "medical necessity is not a
defense to manufacturing and distributing marijuana." It makes one wonder
whose "medical necessity" is included (or not included) in such a
dictatorial and dogmatic comment. Anyone who's ever had a friend or
relative in chemotherapy knows how debilitating and painful it can be. How
heartless.

What ever happened to "states' rights"? And by the way, marijuana is not
manufactured.
