BLACK MARKET ON DRUGS
Our policy-makers must refocus the war on drugs away from zero tolerance
toward harm reduction. Neither new nor radical, this is based on four
logical principles: common sense, science, public health and respect for
individual rights. Our current drug laws embody none of these.
Until we embrace a principled drug policy, we will continue to have an
unregulated black market with all of its negative fallout.
