RAINBOW FARM GETS BAD RAP
Editor,
I am writing to inform you about Rainbow Farm campground in Vandalia.
Rainbow Farm does not support selling illegal drugs, as the news and
police are reporting. Rainbow Farm supports freedom.
I have spent several wonderful weekends there over the past few years
and have met many people from across the country of all different
ages, races and religions.
We come together peacefully at this campground to support a common
goal of changing unjust laws.
The news and police report that "drug dealing festivals" take place at
this campground.
All one needs to do is read a flier advertising the festivals or visit
the official Website to realize that the festivals are not put
together for people to sell drugs.
Rainbow Farm is only responsible for such travesties as getting young
people registered to vote, motivating them to take part in the
democratic process, and getting them to gather peacefully toward a
common goal.
Rainbow Farm entices people to visit with the promise of live music,
speeches by leaders such as Ralph Nader, and camaraderie, not drug
sales.
The young people at the campground are the leaders of tomorrow and
Rainbow Farm has brought us together to visualize what we will do with
the future.
