COLOMBIAN POLICE CRACK BIBLE DRUG SMUGGLING GANG
Police in Colombia say they have dismantled a criminal gang which
used bibles to send illegal drugs abroad.
The police said they discovered a laboratory in the Colombian
capital, Bogota, where the traffickers impregnated the pages of the
bibles with liquid cocaine.
It is the first recorded case of cocaine-soaked bibles, although
Colombian police say they have come across the use of bicycles,
furniture and clothes to smuggle illicit substances.
