TANCZOS INVITED TO TALK ON DRUGS

Green Party MP Nandor Tanczos will be in Invercargill this week to discuss
cannabis legislation and the Clean Slate Bill. Federation of Graduate Women
Southland branch spokeswoman Valerie Couper said the group was hosting a
public meeting to be addressed by Mr Tanczos to inform people.

"Both topics are interesting, debateable and would potentially change the
nature of our society to some degree," she said.

Federation members were keen to have an interesting speaker to raise the
group's profile among younger people and forge links with the Southern
Institute of Technology.

The meeting will be at the SIT lecture theatre B1, 12 on Thursday at 8pm.
Mr Tanczos will also speak at the Sunrise Rotary Club on Friday.
