SOME COMMON SENSE IN STATE ASSEMBLY
Thank God someone has some sense in the Nevada Assembly. When someone is
seriously ill with a lingering or terminal illness, they should not be
denied any medical help that would alleviate painful symptoms. The only
reason the U.S. Supreme Court denied help to these people is due to
ignorant bias and powerful lobbying by pharmaceutical companies that
can't patent a natural substance (i.e. make money).
These companies make hundreds of dollars per day on patented drugs that
aren't as effective (many are administered through painful IVs and have
side effects, as do all drugs), as opposed to the more effective
delivery system that medical marijuana can deliver.
Chronic pain/nausea should be treated like all other diseases, and if
marijuana works, then use it.
