MARIJUANA BATTLE NOT OVER

My hat is off to Ali Jordan-Arnold ["Supreme Stupidity", New Times, June
7]! It is refreshing to see an intelligent argument in regard to the
medicinal marijuana issue.

I find it absurd that our federal government continually denies patients of
their much needed medicine. I find it even more disturbing that we often
allow our federal government to treat us this way. The feds may have won
the battle but they most certainly have not won the war. I urge every one
of your readers to vote for realistic candidates the next time you visit
the polls.
