CONCERN FOR CANADA'S FUTURE

Re: the debate over legalizing marijuana

Most prescriptions contain some kind of drug but it is processed and is a
controlled substance.

If marijuana is a useful medicine, I believe it should be properly
processed and made available to the public only as a controlled substance.

The way young people are having rave parties these days with seemingly
complete abandon, I am concerned that by the time they reach the age of 21
they may not be prepared for anything but life on the street.

We want our young people to grow up healthy in mind and body, and I
emphasize a healthy mind as they will eventually be running the affairs of
the country. Let us not rush into unknown future.
