CLARK CONSERVATIVE

I disagree that Joe Clark's position of "giving a nod to marijuana users
... will hardly endear him to traditional conservatives." ("Fad-ed stars,"
June 16.)

Traditional conservatives like myself applaud any move to reduce the power
of government to interfere unnecessarily in the personal lives of its
citizens. Those who call themselves conservative and support big government
are Liberals in a blue dress.
