NO ESCAPE FROM THE US
Now that U.S. big business has bought out Canada, I suppose it's natural
their police departments move in as well (U.S. drug police plan B.C.
office, June 30). What are we -- a Third World country that needs U.S.
police to protect us from pot growers? What is a matter with our RCMP, the
force that always gets its man? Have they now admitted they can't do the job?
Talk to the people of Mexico, Panama, Peru and Colombia about the U.S. Drug
Enforcement Administration setting up offices in their country. They will
tell you that, once the Americans are in the country with their technology,
money and weapons, they take over. If you think for one moment, they are
just here to gather and share intelligence on pot growers, you don't know
American police or military.
Americans, instead of sending their military and DEA to countries around
the world, should look at themselves and see why so many Americans want to
escape their society by taking heroin, coke, crack, liquor and weed.
