OXYCONTIN IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN POT

If we are claiming to not want to deprive a person of a drug or other
substance which helps them when they are sick, then why do we deprive
people with cancer, AIDS and eating disorders of marijuana?

Seems to me that OxyContin is a much more dangerous drug than plain ol'
marijuana.

At least marijuana is a natural substance put here by God. OxyContin is a
man-made substance with, I would imagine, plenty of side-effects that could
be more dangerous than the original sickness. Can you answer that?
