PRINCE OF POT
I was not at all impressed with the picture of Marc Emery, the B.C.
Marijuana Party leader, (B.C.'s 'Prince of Pot', Aug. 7). However, I was
quite impressed with the picture on the front page of the sports section of
the Ukrainian sprinter who won the gold medal in the 100 metres at the
World Track and Field Championships. How far could Mr. Emery run in 10:82
- -- probably not far with lungs scarred and blackened through years of
cannabis use. Why would we even consider legalizing this drug?
