PROHIBITION KILLS ADDICTS
Letter writer Mark Toth deplores giving injection drug users a clean, safe
place to ingest their drugs ('Culture of death supports addicts instead of
helping,' Opinion, Aug. 2).
Even though they were all fetuses once, it seems this right-to-lifer would
prefer that the users die.
Yes, we had a bellyful of Mark Toth when he lived here in Victoria.
Toth obviously supports the law banning certain drugs, which is totally
consistent with his mindset since it is the prohibition of drugs that is
killing users and not the drugs themselves.
If anyone is guilty of supporting a culture of death, it is surely Mark
Toth, who preaches callous neglect and not the compassionate souls of the
Fraser Valley Health Board, who are at least trying to save the lives of
drug users.
