DRUG MIXTURE LINKED TO THREE MORE DEATHS
Eighteen people have died of drug overdoes in the past four days from
a deadly mixture of heroin and cocaine, officials said.
Three new victims died Tuesday; 15 died over the weekend.
In the period from the beginning of June through Aug. 14, there have
been 69 deaths from cocaine overdoes this year. In the same period
last year, including the last half of August as well, there were 10
fatal cocaine overdoses.
