PARENTING BEST DRUG DETERRENT
The recent 18 drug overdose deaths in Houston underscore what public
service campaigns have been preaching for several years: Illegal street
drugs are dangerous.
The sad fact, though, is that the news of these deaths probably won't do
too much to deter illegal drug use. And public service campaigns aren't the
best deterrent.
The best way is one-to-one. Parent to child.
