TV COVERAGE HIGHLIGHTS INEQUITY OF JUSTICE

Concerning the following news coverage on WSLS-Channel 10 recently:

A judge denies bond for Jay Lynch. Where's the justice?

An ex-teacher pleads guilty to cocaine charges and gets 11 years, which is
suspended by the judge.

A former adult-care worker avoids additional jail time for sexually abusing
patients.

A drunken New York city cop kills four people and is given a bond.

A local police officer, who is convicted of racketeering, is let out of
jail. But another local man is convicted of growing marijuana and is
refused bond by the judge. It just doesn't seem fair.

Are we teaching our kids that it's OK to possess cocaine, to sexually abuse
the elderly, to kill innocent people while drunk or get preferential
treatment for being a police officer, but sitting at home smoking medicinal
marijuana responsibly means spending years in jail? Where's the justice?

I believe Lynch should receive an appeal bond so that he can get on with
his once-promising life.
