NOT FIRST GENERATION IMPACTED BY PROHIBITION

I AM 33 and I take offence at being called a techno-brain by Sam Harper-
Penman, a 19-year-old who thinks his generation is the first to use and be
scorned for taking drugs.

The point he makes about responsible drug use is quite correct and I'm sure
it is well supported by people of many generations. But some of us were
smoking pot and taking ecstasy and LSD while he was still in nappies. So
don't think this generation is the only one affected by archaic laws
brought in because of people with no self-control who can't understand the
basic principle and practice of everything in moderation.
