DRUG LAW COMMENT REFLECTS NARROW BIAS
Regarding Rory Leishman's column War on drugs needs to be relentless (Aug.
28), as it appeared on The Free Press Web site, it seems Leishman's goal is
to step up policing to arrest all who sell, use and possess drugs at all times.
This will some day in turn provide a drug-free paradise in which only
alcohol, squabbles over money, religious ideologies, whom you marry and
disagreements with "the man of the house" are the primary ways to undermine
commitment to your family.
How reassuring.
