PATIENTS SHOULD RALLY TO THE AID OF DR. KNOX
REGARDING Dr. Cecil Knox and OxyContin:
He's extremely dedicated to his patients, particularly the veterans.
My husband is a disabled Vietnam veteran who suffers acute PTSD,
chronic and progressive nerve damage, myofacial pain and sacroiliac
joint dysfunction. He was treated while on active duty but was denied
treatment at the VA for many years. After several local doctors in
the private sector told my husband they could do no more for him, he
was referred to Dr. Knox, who has used several combinations of
therapies and medications.
With every prescription, Dr. Knox gives very detailed instructions on
how to take the medicines, what to expect and the side effects. He
has been teaching my husband how to deal with his chronic pain.
The local media and the Drug Enforcement Administration seem very
intent on crucifying Dr. Knox. I challenge all of Dr. Knox's patients
to give him the same support he unselfishly gives his patients and
their families. Write your congressman. We can't allow a good and
honorable man to be sacrificed.
The people buying, selling and misusing drugs are the criminals.
They're doing each of us a horrible injustice and are putting the
patients who need OxyContin and the good doctor at risk.
