HEMP LEGALIZATION WOULD REDUCE STATE PATROL FUNDING
Editor, the Tribune:
The Missouri Highway Patrol is a bunch of liars. I've used hemp for years.
I have hempnut butter, shoes and hempseed snacks. I can't believe the
patrol would make such an asinine statement. If we legalize hemp, our
farmers could greatly benefit from hemp. If we legalize hemp, then the
patrol would have to cut back on personnel and wouldn't receive as much
funding as it does now for this insane war on drugs - war on the people.
There are officers clearly breaking the law to uphold the law.
How many more people have to go to prison before the law can be changed?
It's not the government's business what I take in my body! It's more
profitable to keep it illegal, isn't it? Who gave the government permission
to legislate morality? It kowtows to big business because they pay big
bucks to keep it illegal. The government doesn't give a damn about the
people. It is only concerned about who can offer the most money for its
services. When the law breaks the law, there is no law.
