TAXPAYERS HURT BY BOTCHED DRUG RAID

Last February's drug raid on the wrong house by the a SWAT team from the
Waukesha County Metro Drug Enforcement Group was a terrifying experience
for the victim, but thankfully no one was badly hurt, except the taxpayers
of Waukesha County who will ultimately pay for the overzealous actions of
the drug squad. The victim certainly deserves every cent she ends up
receiving, and it is up to taxpayers to let elected officials know they are
upset with all the waste and harm caused by the war on drugs by voting them
out of office.

Unfortunately, a Michigan campground owner and his roommate, targeted by
authorities for their outspoken advocacy of marijuana law reform, lost
everything to the war on drugs over the Labor Day weekend.

The latest victims of this insane war were Michigan Rainbow Campground
owner Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm; Crosslin was murdered by the FBI, Rohm
by the state police.

How did these peaceful men become public enemies?

Crosslin was a hard worker chasing the American dream. He built a good life
for himself, hosted peaceful gatherings on his farm, and was a generous
supporter of the community he lived in. Facing the loss of his home, life's
work and freedom all because of a plant, he paid the ultimate price in the
end for his outspoken views.

Two more Americans are dead because of this counterproductive fraud, and
unless drug laws are reformed, they will not be the last.

On Labor Day it was Crosslin. Tomorrow it could be you or your neighbor.
