AMERICA SHOULD CLOSE BORDERS
It doesn't seem possible that such a catastrophe could happen in our
country. Things of this magnitude are only read about in our newspapers. It
seems far removed from our society. As we experienced Sept. 11, we are just
as vulnerable as anyone else. We are a wonderful country, a blessed nation
and people. There is such opportunity for any group of people in America.
Not all who immigrate here come for positive reasons.
We as a nation and our government as an entity have become complacent and
tolerant. Not all immigrants who pledge loyalty to this great nation really
mean it. They are here to infiltrate strategic positions in our government
and military to wreak havoc onto and in our country.
We need to realize this and rethink our attitudes and acceptance. Why do we
allow heretics to cross our borders and enter our country when they so
blatantly despise all that our country embraces? Don't you wonder why they
would even want to be here? Do we allow them to partake of our goodness
when they secretly harbor such hatred for us? Do we continue to allow drugs
to flood this country at the hands of foreign countries? I know that
drug-enforcement agencies work very hard to curtail this activity.
Our military needs to be involved. It can be stopped. People who are here
and create havoc should be deported immediately, never to be allowed to
enter our country again. I pray that America will close our borders for a
while.
We need to catch our breath and reflect on our policies and procedures. I
don't think it should be an injustice that the Ten Commandments are
displayed in our schools or government buildings.
Why should we allow people of other religions to dictate to us? Why do we
change our way of life and beliefs to accommodate them? Why can't our
children pray and pledge their allegiance to our flag at the beginning of
their school day? I did every single morning when I was in school and it
set the mood for the entire day. But now our children can't for fear that
we may offend someone. This is wrong and it threatens the very core of our
nation.
If others from foreign soil can't adopt our culture, beliefs and language,
then they need to stay where they are.
These people come here and practice their religion openly and freely.
Americans are threatened with their very lives for having a Bible in some
Middle Eastern places. They have all the freedoms here to the point that
ours are not tolerated even in our own country. If these people are not
productive members of society, then they need to return from whence they came.
