ALL CITIZENS MUST BE ON ALERT

We have witnessed the most horrific of crimes. Words cannot explain the
emotional roller coaster we are unable to get off of. Our tears will fall
for months to come, and we will be forever changed. In this century, I
regret, the war rooms will be our living rooms. We will have as much
success chasing terrorists as we have had in eradicating drug traffic. We
will never rid the world of these suicidal maniacs. Because of our open
borders and diverse ethnicity, it will be impossible to control these
criminal acts at crowded events.

We all will have to wake up, stay alert and do our duty to save lives. If
we are suspicious of something, we must watch, listen and follow. Call the
authorities. It will become our moral responsibility as citizen-soldiers.
Whether on land, sea or air, be brave and strong, as our way of life may
depend on it.
