GUILFORD: OFFICER ARRESTED IN DRUG RAID
A police officer and another man have been arrested and charged with
operating a drug factory, the state police said yesterday. The officer,
Keith Putzel, 41, a member of the Guilford police force, and Rodney Huff,
36, were arrested Tuesday after police seized cocaine, marijuana, and drug
paraphernalia from a private residence and traced it to the two men. Mr.
Putzel was released on $50,000 bond while Mr. Huff remained in custody
yesterday in $25,000 bail.
