hahahaha carlos you just discovered it? ive seen it ages ago... its one of the most successful scams out there, what hes suggesting to build is simple-to-the-bone magnetic therapy that at best will leave you slightly more refreshed. theres also the psychological factor.

with illustrations like this:

how can anything be taken seriously ;)

that aside, i happen to know quite abit about *serious* magnetic resonance therapy, done with resonance field modulating technology as opposed to cheap magnets (it's like comparing a computer to an abacus). its not very spread out in north america, and thats why people buy into shit like that immortality thing above. magnets *do* work, theres no way they make you immortal or even cure sickness though. however, modulated magnetic fields in certain frequencies within specific time periouds can cure sickness and do loads of positive things for the body. theres good serious research posted on [ npp-elis.ru ] , in russian though. Whoever wants to read it, try translating that page in google I guess. I own one of their machines and trust you me it works loads better than magnets on self made rings.

Some of the things it happens to do really well:
* Get rid of headaches
* Beef up immune responce (cold are gone within much shorter time, ive tried with it and without it)
* Bring pulse and blood pressure to healthy level
* Over time, help liver and kidneys detox themselves (!!!)
* Much, much more...

Won't make you immortal though. Damn.. woulda been cool.

again, i dont think it was just the location, that was probably the least of factors.

Eldar posted a pretty valid list, except her left out the fact that a big party and another jungle party were happening same nite...

If anything, the fact that it was at rainbowites was only bad since other parties were closer to dtown.. rainbowites had lotsa parties before and many of them were packed.. but those werent multi-party nights

ahahahaha hahaha haha

the cartoon is well made but sooooo cheezy :)

as for content...like i feel for them piggies and noseless chickens and shit, but yo theres too many people on earth now to feed from small farms only. live in reality, people. and the antibiotics along with pollution is a very valid point that needs addressing, but it isnt solved by re-establishing a bunch of small farms. shit' i would trust a REGULATED and ROUTINELY INSPECTED factory far more than some booney farmer who does whatever the fuck he likes to his stock, and obviously very interested to increase produce through cheap means, since theres fuckloads of competition.

wordplay again.

the argument i provided is impersonal, and is straight textbook. it can apply to ANYTHING.

a) defining characteristic of Doohikie:

Doohikie is Humphty, and/or is able to perform Bahooch.

b) assertion:

It is not possible to be Humphty and/or Bahooch can not be performed.

(here we can either appeal to an axiom to prove this assertion, or present a 'negating the consequence' argument leading to a paradox, such as with teh God example. Humpty can be eny quality, and Bahooch can be anything.)

c) Doohikie can not exist (disclaimer: conventional meaning of the word exist is being used).

thats wordplay. you can prove that God, as defined by most of the major religions in contemporary society (christinity, islam and judaism all agree that God is omnipotent), doesn't exist.

yeah but thats why definition is encapsulated in (a). this logic chain (not created by me, as i mentioned they show this as example in university phil course) merely proves using deductive grammar that God, as defined above, can not exist. Anyone who has a different definition can have a different argument.

Even this argument is not really sound although logically valid, since we could go into defining existing and thats majorly deep waters, theres still a few big camps of opinions out there. Alot would argue that God exists for everyone subjectively, since they have a unique idea of what God is to them, and it exists, for them, in their mind at least.

Existentialism is not something I wanna get into, lets just leave this at a surface deductive counterproof shall we :)

i dont think the location was bad, just that there were 2 other big parties more downtown same nite, one of which was Jungle too.

I dont doubt IDJ will get back up in there.

Dom's live set rocked major ass. I wanted to see Seb but had to leave too early since I wasnt sure if hes showing at all.... sounds like he did and dropped a proper one :D all in all - good music, chill people, not many people but hey its not about numbers

*yawn*

after throwing away all the vague mythical mystical stuff, it becomes textbook beginner deductive logic (one of the first examples they'll feed you at uni):

what do we need to present a well formed deductive argument whether God exists?

a) define God

most religions agree god is omnipotent (can do anything).

we dont need to continue the definition since this will suffice.

b) base a valid statement on a condition in A and see if it checks out.

Can God create a stone than God can not lift?

Paradox: if yes, then God can not lift the stone. If no, then God can not create a stone.

c) We have ourselves a well formed statement:

If God is defined as omnipotent, then God can not exist (the only way for a If-Then statement to be true when the conclusion is false, is for the premise to be false).

QED

I'm not talking about paranoid maniacs, but how this schema could go wrong with normal people in a normal situation where everyone is just fucking around leaving comments going on ravewave, whatever.

in the above story, John Doodoo and Jane Doese are unaware of each other and the whole thing is nly scrutinized from the eagle's eye view of an admin.

fuck, this weed makes me type alot. i gotta get my as to idj... :lol

of course but hows this for a scenario:

John Doodoo signs into ravewave from sympatico ip A.

For further plausibility, John Doodoo then proceeds to leave some comments on nymphland.

John Doodoo goes on vacation and doesnt visit ravewave or nymphland for a while after.

Jane Doese, who does not gon on ravewave or is a lurker without an account, goes onto nymplnand from same sympatico ip A that cycled back to her.

Goven that John Doodoo's Ip was recorded both on ravewave AND nymphland previously, the comment would surely be attributed to John Doodoo.

But Jane Doese left it. And to make it worse, Jane Doese might just make an account on ravewave the day after, when her ip becomes sympatico ip B, different than sympatico ip A.

As you can see, the comments previously left on nymphland by Jane Doese would never be traced to her. John Doodoo would look like an undoubtable culprit.

And that is all, folks.
