i am generally against using the word 'play' because its not playing anyone if everyone involved is aware of how things are, but regardless...did you ever consider that we do this because we can? some people have to be in a relationship to get laid consistently, they need that official label to keep it from breaking apart/the girl losing interest. on the other hand, 'some guys' dont need to rely on some official status of relationship to keep things fresh and keep interest there... sure its harder, but its so much easier in other aspects of life it really is arguable which mentality is more stable.
