like you said, lotsa people turn threads into insta-chat... which is cool in general sections... but if you make a couple sections where every user will have a limit of X posts per day, people will at first max their X real fast and then think twice before posting... and actually WRITE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL...maybe

or maybe every one who posts-two-words-on-the-go-to-boost-post-count will stick to unlimited sections but at least people will know which sections to go to when they wanna read something other than "yah." "cool!" "hahaha"
