Bassnectar was awesome about 2 years ago. Right now, he seems to concentrate on the Bass part and forget about the Nectar. His sets looks like cliché dubstep mixes...I miss the old west coast style Bassnectar. Still, there's more and more people who love his stuff. Guess people like heavy bangers and couldn't care less for twisted melodies. Matter of taste I guess...

Personally, I'd like to see Aphex Twin but I doubt it'll ever happen. My next votes goe for Chris Clark and Wisp. Autechre also (they are releasing a new album in march). I'd also like to see Heyoka again, and have a chance to see either Tipper, Mimosa or Spoonbill.

Perso, pour les nez, je commence par dessiner la forme des os nasal et des cartillage du nez. Comprendre que le bout du nez est composé de 2 cartillage aide, personellement.

I lived there this summer...There's a little water source on the other side that comes from the mountains. There was about 10 kids living there, but lots of movement, people coming and leaving, travelers like me stopping by for a month and then goin away.

But yeah, I do agree that most dubstep tunes end up souding childish. To be honnest, most music feels that way to me. Keep in mind that 95% of electronic music is made by people who can't think outside the box and end up making the same thing again and again.

Would have liked to come, to be honnest. Pretty sure it was worth it. I simply don't have the 40 bucks to put on a party night and I'm pretty sure it's the same for many people.

Nah, seriously, I do agree that IDM is not very representative. But then again, I doubt trance would put me in a trance, or that psytrance is the most psychedelic form of edm, or that dubstep has anything to do with dub anymore. The term IDM comes from the name of a mailing list in the 90's where electronic music producers (specially those we now consider to be IDM producers) could share info and other stuff.
