For its sophomore Columbia effort, Endo has junked wholesale the rote rap screams and thickheaded riffs that made its 2000 debut so utterly forgettable. In its place, Songs for the Restless finds the Florida combo dwelling on the dynamics and emotion of Deftones or Staind -- groups that temper hard music with touchy-feely heartbreak, but who also take care to write actual songs. This reemergence might be an acknowledgment of rap-metal's unceremonious burial, a savvy marketing effort in recognition of loud rock's most promising new direction. Maybe, but nothing on Evolve suggested that Gil Bitton could even sing, let alone emote as he does on "Clean Sheets (And a Dirty Mind)" or the solid single "Simple Lies." Existing bassist Zelick and new Endoers Eli Parker (guitar) and Joe Eshkenazi (drums) lock into a groove light years beyond the histrionic silliness of the debut -- even if "For You" apes the keening verses and stop/start explosions of Deftones, it's a genuine imitation. Endo still has a way to go in the lyrics department -- revelations like "Madness/What if it's genius?" abound. There are also a few holdovers from the band's original incarnation ("Ruckus," parts of the unfortunately-named "Remember Us") that suggest Songs for the Restless might have benefited from some trimming. But overall, Endo has come through its rap-metal molting process largely unscathed. But another problem i love my parents a lot, and my father is doing all this work, giving himself all this stress with building this company so i can one day provide my family with the same things he's provided me. So i feel guilty if i don't follow his footsteps. I know for a fact he didn't want this career, but i'm now stuck in the same situation.

All during cegep, I had to take the 218 and the 210 to abbott...now that was an hour and fifteen mins to school and from school. A whole two and half hours a day just to travel to school. Also my rents were discouraging with my enrollment into fine arts and creative arts. All i ever got from my father was that i was wasting my time and I should be in commerce.

My under achieving sister just started cegep at abbott last semester. She gets 70’s – 80’s and get the mother fucking goldstar! They didn't want her riding the bus, so they bought her the exact same car as me, 2003 civic. They pay for her insurance and car payments as long as she remains in school. My sister needs to work on a rewards system, because she is a lazy fuck. Also i just found out today that my father made more of an incentive for her to continue school, that if she passed this semester he'd send her to Florida. Well she passed, just barely, but passed. So off to Florida she goes.

Now when i was in Cegep, i wanted to be there, i got high 80's and 90's and never received any encouragement from my rents. I even wanted to continue my studies in university but they refuse to help me out, cos they contest they have no money for me to waste on my studies. WTF!

I am so fucking mad. This is pure bullshit.

the worst part is that nickelback is on roadrunner records...wtf ... roadrunner is known for wack bands like chimaira, slipknot, 36 crazyfists...not this panzy rock... RR should dump them.
