I had been sober for about a year and a half, then becam extremly depressed. Unfortunately i self medicated myself to ignore the problem at hand. The drugs did an excellent job at masking and numbing the pain, but the minute the effects wore off, it was as if I had built and emotional dam, and everytime I would fall out of my haze the dam would be flooded with everything at once. The only thing I could do at the moment was just take more drugs. All in all everything became worse, and so did my expenditures on my products for self medication. There are few other things that relieve me of the torment of my self destruction, the minute they also leave, things revert back to the initial state. I've begun to cut down on drugs and follow the path I was following a year ago to better myself with the experiences in my life, good or bad. Self enlightenment will always be more worthy than self destruction.

I am back on the path to healing myself. I have my friends to thank for that.

To those who think there is no hope for anything, they are wrong.
