Ok so i cant dump the files through midi...is there anyways to take the files from the floppy disk, dump them on my computer then convert the DAT files into wavs?

My sis is using the P2P filing sharing, seems like it can be really benificial...what pisses me off is that the P2P file manager constantly pops up .. so i ended up disabling it.

I need help with recording.

Right now my set up consists of me using my SU-700 as a sampler to edit all my loops, composed loops, etc from my ER-1, EA-1, K4 and various sample cds. Now don't tell me to stop using the SU-700 to edit samples...cos i perfer the hands on approach, than using kontact. I despise the method of the onboard Sequencer in the SU-700, cos it all goes by ear and not eyes...i like to fucking see what i am doing. Now i do not as of yet have the expansion ASIO board for the SU-700. Nor the zip drive...so right now to save my tracks it requires about 15 floppy disks. Loading those 15 disks makes me not want to work on music at all. Now what i really need help with is, is there some way to put all the samples i edit on the SU-700 onto my computer to lay out with kontact in Cubase sx...so i can see what i am doing. Now another problem is conversion...I need to convert the files, because my SU-700 records all the information it DAT...now how in the fuck do i get this into a fucking wav. If you wanna hear my tracks, help me with this problem, and ill have em up in the next 2 weeks.
